Officially ready to blog!

Family and friends! We are so excited that you decided to visit our family blog. We thought this would be a great way to keep everyone updated on how our family is doing (since a lot of us live far away).

At this point, I am 32 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and it is a GIRL! I think Jonathan and I are still a little shocked, but we cannot wait to see this precious bundle. The pregnancy is going well and seems to have gone a little quicker than with Carter. Probably because we are chasing Carter around :)

Speaking of...Carter is a ball of energy and is 2 1/2 years old now. He is officially 37lbs and 38 inches tall - big boy like both Papaw's and Great-Grandpa's! Carter is talking about anything and everything and is totally potty-trained (hallelujah). Carter's favorite things right now are candy (any kind), tractors, and being outside. He's such a joy in our lives, and he seems to be excited about "baby sissy" coming.
