Savvy Halloween Shopping

Shopping for Halloween can become overwhelming and expensive. Do you like the generic candy or the brand-names? I have found that if you visit some discount stores you can get great candy at lower prices. Try The Dollar Tree or Big Lots. My finds include Smarties, Blow-Pops, Twizzlers, and Tootsie-Roll-Pops.

These are also great low-budget decorations for the fun day ahead:

• Felt leaves could be out until Thanksgiving!
• Paper-Strip-Pumpkins are a great craft for little ones.

Here's a hint to Carter's costume: cardboard box, red spray-paint, paper-towel tube. I just hope the outcome is as great as I'm imagining.
