Toys for Tots, week 2

It's all about the 4-year old this week. He's one of the sweetest boys around, if I do say so myself :-) Can I take a moment to be a proud Mommy? He's such a helper, loves to please, and is truly my little Carter-boo. He is not going to Kindergarten next year...can't be.

So, Carter (and all 4-year olds) are into food and using their imaginations. These ideas are wonderful for their ever growing math skills, and need to have hands-on play. Melissa and Doug is a favorite for everything. Click here for the pizza.

Looking for a cheaper version? Try this! Felt-food couldn't be easier to make. You can sew-away with creativity like Jill does, but if you're not a seamstress then just take some time with your cutting skills. Any little one would love this under the tree.
