This week I was privileged to sit in on a dialogue between parents, educators, and
Michelle Rhee. I did not know much about Michelle Rhee until I watched Waiting for Superman at a staff meeting. Wow. You should watch it, whether you are a teacher, mom, banker, engineer, designer, etc. The state of education in this nation is at a pivotal point. Thank goodness Indiana is making some strides in this area.
She was full of wisdom, wit, and determination to help America's children. The statistics of education in America compared with other countries is astounding...not in a good way. If you ever have the chance to sit in on a conversation with Michelle Rhee, you really should.
She is founder and CEO of
students-first. She was the chancellor of the DC schools.
