Garden Goodness

Just a sprinkling of the yummies that have came out of our garden {a first for us}. The green bean plants have taken a major hit because of all the rain, but they look like they are coming back nicely - talk about delish. I need the recipe for the fried-green-beans at PFChang's.

What did you plant this year? Did the rain affect your vegetation? We planted green beans, jalepeno peppers, green bell peppers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes {doing great}, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, cucumber, and two blueberry bushes. We also have wild blackberries all over our 5-acres. I like to save these for jelly, but they are SO good. Our neighbor made a blackberry pie and kindly brought us 2 pieces {tastey!}.

I think it's amusing that J doesn't really do fruit or veggies, unless they are cooked, fried, or embedded in something. However, I love all this goodness!
