New Sounds

Ella has decided to become vocal during the past few weeks. She is an angel of a baby. Crying only means hungry, sleepy, or needs a new diaper. She has been saying "dada" for awhile, but she has learned "mama" this week! It started on Sunday when someone else was holding her. Me and J couldn't believe it.


Of course, like any Mom, I've been giving "mama" some extra practice with her. I actually think she is making the association between "mama" and me. We usually hear "dada" unless she is upset and looking at me; then it is crying and "mama." What do you think? Am I being too hopeful? I'll just keep thinking she's the brightest baby around :)
