Cookie Exchange, part 1

That cookie-swap was something else! Let me just say, I can't keep my hands out of my cookie bag. I need an intervention with a weight watchers specialist, HA! We had such a mixture. Here are some of what is currently in my freezer. The best peanut butter cookie. Nutella yummy. Mint-Chocolate Crinkles. Red-Velvet-White-Chocolate-Chip-Cookies. Oatmeal. Chocolate Chip. Snowflake Cookies. Cherry-Nut. Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies. Buckeyes. Cut-Out Cookies with Icing. Salty 'n' Sweet miniatures, and I might be missing one or two. They are all to die for. BUT, the whole idea got started with the invitations. I told you, the idea came from here but I tweaked it a little and came up with this.
Pretty easy and they were quite cute, if I do say so myself. If you looked carefully at the invite, you would see that I paired the cookie-exchange with a holiday craft! With pinterest it was not hard to find something easy and pretty affordable. They needed to bring between 60-70 shatterproof ornaments, normal size (not mini) and we created this...
SO easy. I don't want to take the credit, because I did not design this beautiful wreath - so go HERE if you want a tutorial. It's genius! I have made two already and might make another. These are also great as gifts, but try to give them pre-holiday so everyone can use them :) Tomorrow...cookie-round up with some recipes. Mmmmm, my tummy is growling for more cookies!
